Somto Ugwu

Somtochukwu Nnamdi Ugwu is a lawyer by profession. He currently serves as the Gender Head/Partnerships Officer of Society for the Improvement of Rural People (SIRP). Somto is also the team leader of Unskilled to Skilled (U2S), which is a Youth Economic Empowerment (YEE) platform, and currently serves as the Communications Officer of The Men Engage Nigeria Network.

Somto has received many recognitions and awards for his work in youth and women empowerment. Notable amongst them is the Unleash Talent Award 2019 and also being recognized as a Global Ambassador with notable organizations, such as Theirworld, World Literacy Foundation, RockFlower, Institute of Economics and Peace, and UN Women.
