Jimbere Fund provides women from some of the poorest households in Congo’s rural communities with training and grants to launch businesses. Our goal is to revitalize communities and lift people out of poverty in a sustainable way by creating jobs and stimulating local economies. We firmly believe that investing time and money in women entrepreneurs will create a ripple effect to benefit their families, communities, and Congo as a whole. We aim to mobilize, train, finance and unleash the entrepreneurial spirit of 15,000 Women Entrepreneurs who will build sustainable livelihoods for themselves, their families and communities, by 2025.

Mission: Jimbere Fund seeks to fight poverty in rural Congo by mobilizing, preparing, and positioning women to be catalysts for long-term change.

Vision: To foster a Democratic Republic of Congo where women have economic opportunities to thrive and become driving forces for family, community, and national change.
